Morning and Evening Intensive Substance Abuse Outpatient Treatment
Center
Non-residential Treatment Facility (AIR) specializing
in adolescent care as well as adult services. This program is devoted to the treatment of chemical dependency and/or
alcohol addiction for youth and adults. Our program is structured to empower
each individual to take responsibility for their own life by moving beyond their feelings of shame and guilt to discover each
individual’s own self-worth. Located in the Historic Tower District of
Fresno, combined with the warm physical amenities of a home environment, and our professional expertise to deal effectively
with problems related to the abuse of alcohol and other illicit drugs, this is a setting that encourages the healing process
in individuals.
Research has shown the comprehensive individualized recovery process provided
in a non-institutional homelike atmosphere significantly increases the patient’s ability to recover.
Impaired by chemical abuse and ineffective living
skills clients find they often are unable to reach goals and experience difficulty in several life areas: Loss of jobs, expulsion
from schools, failing relationships, and both financial and legal complications.
Our center’s
program includes both, focus and process groups specific to our clients needs. We
believe in participation in the 12-step program being a vital part of recovery. Our
center attends daily 12-step meetings.
Recognizing that each person has unique specific
needs AIR professionals have several options at hand. The process begins with an initial assessment to determine the need
and the most appropriate level of care recommended for each person. Individualized Treatment Plan is formulated to the
levels of care and degrees of treatment.
Our services are provided to clients who are in need of substance abuse
treatment, intervention, and relapse prevention, as well as making behavioral changes in their lives. As an integral part of the local community, we have established a relationship with other facilities providing
related services when needed, i.e. detoxification, acute medical and acute psychiatric care. We also attend the Fresno County
Alcohol and Drug Advisoy Board meetings which helps our organization to stay abreast of the latest methods and changes
in the substance abuse field.
We are committed to delivering the highest quality of services, with
the primary goal being abstinence from all psychoactive mood-altering substances. Sobriety
or getting sober is easy; staying free from alcohol and drugs or long-term sobriety is very difficult.
Research illustrates the first year of recovery
is the most difficult. With varying levels of intensity and care, our program
AIR is designed to provides support at each critical stage throughout the first year, and continuing care provided for all
levels of need. We believe the supportive network of 12-step programs combined
cultural and awareness to be one of the most effective tools of recovery.
A.I.R.’s carefully structured environment
is designed to meet the needs of each individual in its program. We have a highly
skilled team of, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Substance Abuse Counselors, Physician, and Spiritual Advisor on
staff.
Significant behavior life changes take time and hard work. There are no shorts cuts or easy ways. Changes involves working through anger, pain, physical as well as
